Hello everyone, my name is Miles and I am the webmaster of Pokersite.co.uk I have been playing Poker for a number of years now and have been lucky enough to meet some of the top professional poker players in the world such as Chris Ferguson and Gus Hanson.

My first PokerSite was www.pokertutor.co.uk which is still going strong, this site however has been built to add some of the features people come to expect from websites these days, luckily my background is in IT and Development.

One of the features I wanted to get on this site is Member Profiles which you are looking at now, it probably still has a couple of bugs to iron out but for the most part it seems to be working.

I hope to roll out a forum in the near future too but we need to get a member base before we do that.

1. Never ever play above your comfort zone
2. Never play with money you could not afford to lose
3. Dump a losing hand at the first opportunity
4. If you ever raise more than half your stack you should go all in instead
5. Pick the right game for your skill level & bankroll
6. Once you place money in the pot it is no longer yours
7. Never sit down with more than 10% of your bankroll
8. Pay attention to the cards on the Table
9. You should always be folding way more hands than you play
10. Take advantage of play money, freerolls and low buy-in tournaments while you are learning
