Royal Flush
|
This is where the cards are all of the same suit from ten to ace. |

Straight Flush

|
Five cards in a numerical row and in the same suit. e.g. 2,3,4,5,6 or 5,6,7,8,9. If two players have the same in different suits the pot is split otherwise the high card will take the pot. |
Full House |
Three of a kind and two of a kind. For example AAA and 22. If two players have a full house the player with the highest three of a kind takes the pot. For example a 777,22 will beat a 555,AA |
Four of a Kind
|
Four cards with the same number e.g. AAAA or KKKK |
Flush
|
Five cards of the same suit. If two players have a straight the highest card will win. If both have the same high card the next highest wins. |
Straight
|
Five cards in numerical order of mixed suits. Should two players have a straight the high card wins the pot. If the hands are of the same rank the pot will be split. An example of a straight would be A2345, note that you cannot have a straight like this KA234. |
Three of a kind
|
Three cards of the same number, for example 333, AAA, JJJ. As before if two players have three of a kind the cards with the highest ranking will win. |
Two Pair
|
Two pairs of cards of the same number e.g. AA and 22 or 55 and KK. As always if two players have a two of a kind the highest number will win, if both players have the same high pair the highest of the lower pair will win. |
One Pair
|
Two cards of the same value, If two players have One Pair the player with the highest pair wins |
High Card
|
If no players have any of the above hands the player with the highest card wins. |
